Why Encore Consignment Boutique is Special
We are committed to carrying quality women's fashion to include dresses, skirts, pants, shirts, purses, scarves, accessories and so much more. Yet we are passionate about seeking out and offering unique items from area artists that might compliment our store and your fancy. Though clothing is our main interest we will soon offer, on a small scale, a variety of new gift and personal items. It's our way of saying welcome, enjoy, and take home a smile.
How to Find Us
We are in the Village Shoppes of Bedford on Route 101. From the North or South take the Everett Turnpike (toll portions) to NH 101W toward US-3/Bedford/RT 114/Milford. Take a left at the lights staying on NH 101 toward Milford/Keene. We are 1.6 miles further down in a plaza on the left. If you pass Ethan Allen you have gone too far.
Would You Like to Consign? Here's How.
Merchandise is accepted by appointment. We take a maximum of 25 items per visit, however, you may schedule as many appointments as you wish.
Items We Accept
Encore specializes in high quality, gently used women's clothing and accessories. Items must not be more than 3 years old, freshly laundered, ironed, and on hangers. We expect all buttons and snaps to be in place, zippers in working order, no stains, tears, pilling or pulls. Accessories such as belts, hats, scarves, purses and shoes must be in "as new condition." Take a few extra moments to polish up and items will be more apt to sell.
SADLY: We cannot accept undergarments, bathing suits, socks, wedding attire, or items with strong odor or pet hair.
Our knowledgeable staff will determine the prices with your approval. Encore accepts items for a 60 day consignment period. The consignor is responsible for claiming any unsold items within 5 days of the expiration of contract. If items are not claimed they become the property of Encore Consignment Boutique and may be further reduced, donated, or held over for another season.
The consignor agreees to accept 40% of the sale of any article, with a 50/50 split on jewelry. Encore bears the right to hold sales periodically to move merchandise along. A nominal item fee will be added to each item consigned which will in no way infringe upon the consignor’s share of payment. Once the consignor’s account reaches an amount of $20 or more a check will be mailed on the first of the following month. A $1.50 handling fee will be deducted. This is the ONLY cost associated to consigning with us.
In a consignment situation, the consignor remains the owner of the items until they are sold. Encore Consignment Boutique makes their best effort to merchandise and care for all items until they are sold, however, we are not responsible for loss by theft, negligent handling or any other cause.
